Find out the latest on the Cheltenham Street Race 2013 and the Sustainable Expo 2012
The Cheltenham Street Race scheduled for 2013 is a thrilling motorsports event highlighing the rapid advances in low-carbon transport, through the exciting format of a street race and time trials through the streets of Cheltenham. All vehicles competing will be low-carbon, using exclusively fossil-free fuels with a number of different scientifically based criteria utilised to determine the winner in a number of categories.
The Sustainable Expo takes place on 8th and 9th September 2012. It will bring together the Motor Sports, Motor Manufacturing and Transport industries in the setting of Cheltenham and the context of sustainability and the low carbon future. The 2012 event is an exciting and engaging experience with Commercial, Motorsports, Education, Legacy & Theatre Zones; demonstrations, events, talks, debate and interactive displays along The Promenade and within the Town Hall & Council Chambers.

Forum meeting
The last of the Cheltenham Street Race public forums was held at the Montpellier Chapter Hotel at the end of last year, with valuable discussion taking place about the Sustainable Expo 2012 and future Cheltenham Street Race projects.
Why the last forum?
We’re making rapid progress with plans for the upcoming Sustainable Expo 2012 and we need to throw our energies into creating and delivering one of the most innovative, industry-leading events ever in Cheltenham. The Sustainable Expo 2012 will provide a taster of the excitement and atmosphere that is to come in 2013 and 2014.
Naturally, we remain ready to respond to concerns or answer questions from anyone who is interested in our plans, whether they’re prospective sponsors or members of the public who are keen to get involved.
