Charity Liaison & Sponsorship

I am a director of Cheltenham Motorsports Ltd and am a member of the Rotary Club of Cheltenham North. I also run the Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund - LINC - a registered cancer support charity based at Cheltenham General Hospital.  The success of this project is very important to me in the hope that it will raise much needed funds for the charities supported by the charity trustees of the Rotary Club of Cheltenham North and for LINC whilst bringing kudos to Cheltenham.

Jennie Rainsford

Marketing & PR

Jennie Rainsford is owner and Director of marketing and events company Media Eden.  Jennie has a background of 12 years of theatre and venue management, including The Palace Theatre and The Opera House in Manchester and The Dominion Theatre in London's West End.  After too many years of late nights Jennie left the world of theatre and spent 2 years managing Europe's leading contemporary music school in west London, Drumtech at The Powerhouse Music Schools.

She then left the bright lights of London for the more tranquil surroundings of the Cotswolds and joined telecoms start up company Muzicall as Contracts & Licensing Manager.  The role involved negotiating licensing terms with major music labels such as EMI, Sony BMG, Universal, Warner Music and many independents to licence content for a new music product for the mobile telecoms world.  Jennie remains a shareholder of the company.

Other opportunities developed that led Jennie back into event management and the music industry and through a series of intriguing coincidences Media Eden was born.  She is also Director of Lechlade Festival Limited, a two day music festival showcasing talent from the South West region.

Phil Coysh

Financial Management

Phil spent 33 years in the banking industry, latterly as National Director of an agricultural mortgage brand of RBS.  After taking early retirement in 2009 he joined Event & Management Services Ltd as Business Manager.  He has spent much of his free time over many years organising charity events and concerts and is a director and trustee of Ignition Gloucestershire, a Christian events charity.  Phil is married with 4 children.

Alex Steele

Sustainability Advisor

Alex Steele is a specialist in sustainable development, environmental management and corporate social responsibility.  He has worked as a specialist advisor to companies and government agencies throughout the world over the last twenty years. Alex’s specialisms include environmental management systems, ISO14001, BS8555, waste management, resource efficiency, climate change adaptation and mitigation, carbon management, environmental impact assessment and life cycle analysis. Alex is also well known as an international consultant in areas of innovation, change management and leadership development, linking sciences with arts and music. Alex is the Managing Director of Improwise Sustainability Consulting which focuses on working with organisations to bring about change and innovation, with a particular emphasis on responding to the challenges of the sustainability agenda. Alex has ongoing associations as a Consultant to Ashridge Business School, as an Associate with the University of Gloucestershire, and as a Visiting Professor at ULAB University in Bangladesh.

Will Evans

Financial Manager

Will Evans began his career with accountancy firm KPMG in London and has been involved in financial management ever since. After a spell at FTSE 100 company Friends Provident, Will joined the senior management team at international oil brokers PVM, where he stayed for seven years. Over that period, Will oversaw the financial operations of offices in London, Singapore, Vienna and New York, and managed the company's M&A activity.

After relocating to the Cotswolds area, Will set up the Cheltenham arm of business advisory firm CMC Partnership. CMC specialise in supporting entrepreneurial and owner-managed businesses, and in building their long-term value. The team bring a wealth of financial and operational management experience to their clients, and in the Cheltenham Motor Sports project Will has already seen the enterprising and innovative characteristics that typify many of his clients.

Will is a keen sportsman, and is married with a young daughter.
